New Year’s resolutions are often broken by the first quarter of the year. We tend to set lofty goals only to fall short within the first month or two. This year, why not try a different approach? Try a word or a phrase of your choosing that is like your theme for the year. This twist on an old tradition has been gaining ground for a few years now. I have been using it for about 5 years and find it very effective.
If you tend to forget, you can often remind yourself of your intention by placing it in areas that will catch your attention. You can have a bracelet or cuff engraved with your word, you could get a sign to hang in your home, your could set reminders on your calendar throughout the year to revisit your intention if you have forgotten.
What word or phrase will you choose?
