Do you see it?
Looking for the wonder and amazement in things may sound a little fanciful or Polly Anna and yet I wonder how our lives would change if we were determined to see the wonder in our everyday experiences. I love hearing stories of people who get up each day determined to have a good day and they do! Life does have tough moments, for sure. In fact, just yesterday, I was having a pity party for myself over some tough moments. As a result, I was feeling blue. Having dedicated myself to helping others experience more joy and happiness, I want to feel joy and happiness as much as possible. So, to practice what I teach, I went to my “go to” joy boosters. I took my lovely dog for a walk. Animals are one of my best ways to practice being in the now so walking Missy was largely helpful. Another way to help me remember my joy is to meditate. Thanks to the suggestions of Wayne Dyer, when I sit down to meditate I ask, “How may I serve?” It was not two minutes into meditation when I received a call from someone needing my help. It was such a specific need that I was the only one who could do it. My day went on with many wonderful and amazing moments. In fact, I was even glad I started off with a pity party because I used my skills to reunite with my joy. Even today, I keep thinking about how beautifully events transpired yesterday. I am so greatful to look for the wonder. When I do, I find it. I am so blessed and so are you. Please look for the everyday wonder and magic in your life. You’ll be glad you did.
Please share you wonder moments below. We want to hear how you do it.
