It seems like we get to living life and forget to be happy. When something is troubling us we have a hard time thinking of anything else. It is almost as if we continuously remind ourselves of the thoughts we have been ruminating on and seek to continue the pattern. Instead, we would be better served reminding ourselves that we want to be happy. It is a matter of making happy thoughts it into a habit. Positive thinking needs to be the go to pattern of thinking rather than thoughts we think when we are done thinking about “important” things.
Set the intention to live a life of joy and happiness. Train your brain accordingly.
